Celebrate With Easter Activities Near Kirkland, Washingtonphoto

It’s officially the first full day of Spring in the Pacific Northwest! The Woodmark Hotel is excited to welcome Spring with exceptional seasonal cuisine at our waterfront restaurants in Kirkland, rejuvenating spa treatments at our tranquil spa facility, and the great anticipation of outdoor recreation in our near future. Soon it will be time for kayaking, paddle boarding, and exciting lakeside lifestyle with boats and jet skis right in our backyard, otherwise known as the stunning Lake Washington.

We’d like to provide some suggestions to celebrate Easter, as in the past we’ve hosted an Easter Egg Hunt on our waterfront lawn. Instead this year we are excited to celebrate Easter with the delightful culinary talents of our restaurants, bin on the lake and Beach Café. Easter weekend is full of family-friendly activities near our boutique waterfront hotel in Kirkland, Washington.

Kirkland Easter Activities

One of the largest and longest-running egg hunts in Kirkland will be held at Peter Kirk Park in downtown Kirkland on Easter Sunday! The 39th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Kirkland Kiwanis, begins at 1:30pm on Sunday, April 20th. The event is free to the public and Kiwanis members will put out approximately 15,000 eggs.

On Saturday, April 19th, try the Scrambled Egg 5k in nearby Redmond. With a race & hunt all-in-one event, this is a one-of-a-kind experience that encompasses the spirit of Easter. Participants can collect colored eggs scattered throughout the course, with each color either helping or hurting each person’s race time. It is not revealed what each color means until after the race! With lots of prizes, other unique activities and the Easter Bunny, this race is a great way to get outdoors and celebrate one of our favorite springtime holidays.

Also on April 19th, Redmond Town Center needs your help in making an effort to break the Guinness World Record! Shooting for ‘The Most Dyed Eggs at the Same Time,’ be a part of history and register to participate. This free event requires pre-registration and comes with a free “Easter Egg” Cake Pop from Pinkabella Cupcakes. What a sweet deal!

On April 20th, find the perfect spot for holiday dining in Kirkland at our waterfront restaurants Beach Café and bin on the lake. With stunning water-views and the unique culinary offerings of each kitchen, you'll find several delicious ways to celebrate Easter with your loved ones.

At bin on the lake, discover an inspired a la carte brunch menu highlighting fresh, local cuisine. This Easter holiday, experience panoramic views across Lake Washington and special brunch items featuring vibrant tastes of the season.  Reservations are recommended so go ahead and reserve a table online, or visit www.binonthelake.com for more information.

Featuring an over-the-top brunch buffet, Beach Café is dishing up items like "Theo" Chocolate pancakes and Cinnamon Maple Glazed Pit Ham. Perfect for family & friends alike, view the full buffet menu and reserve a spot before it’s too late!

The Woodmark hotel on Lake Washington is thrilled to be part of the charming community of Kirkland. We wish all of our valued guests and community members a Happy Easter!
