FALL in Love with the Woodmark
Fall in the Northwest...
It's a time we all savor. The changing of the leaves unveils a new season of possibilities. We swap our shorts and sandals for rain boots and windbreakers. We still play on the lake, but we also cozy up indoors.
A subtle fog drapes over the morning air like a sweater over shoulders. By early afternoon, it gives way to a brilliant sun that sparkles through ruby and amber trees. All the while, Lake Washington glimmers back at us with its radiant beauty. Autumn is truly our best kept secret.
What does a Woodmark stay look like in Autumn, you ask?
Wake up to the beauty of the water. Savor the view over locally-roasted coffee. Inhale the aromas of chocolate and smokiness. Indulge in room service. Stroll downstairs and go for a walk around Kirkland. Stop by local boutiques, gift shops, and home decor stores. Witness the friendly, laid-back community that is Kirkland.
Return for lunch at the Beach Cafe - a casual restaurant inspired by beaches around the world. Spend the rest of the afternoon on the water - whether you take out the kayaks, or venture aboard the 28 foot Chris-Craft named The Woodmark II, that is up to you. If you have time, stop by the Still Spa. Warm up with Mt. Rainier Stone Revival massage. Let the deeply heated stones vaporize the essential oils, of rosemary, ginger, cypress and geranium, create a relaxing and grounding effect, while increasing circulation and loosening your muscles and joints. End with a gentle face massage using cool stones.
Head upstairs to get ready for dinner, and then wander over to bin on the lake. Partake in exquisite cuisine with a Pacific Northwest focus. Enjoy locally-sourced ingredients that capture bright, seasonal tastes. Ponder your most difficult decision of the day: which to choose from 40 wines by the glass. Gaze out on the setting sun across Lake Washington, casting a glow across the nearby city of Seattle. Let the day wash over you and inhale.
This is your home away from home.
