The Woodmark, Pet Friendly Hotel in Kirkland Introduces New Dog to Greet Guests
Many of our guests became very attached to our recently retired Director of Guest Satisfaction, a spunky labradoodle who loved to greet each guest with a tail wag. Now that Woody has retired to a fun life on a farm, the Woodmark has been searching for another canine who longs to serve and please others, just as Woody did. The Woodmark Hotel is pleased to announce the newest addition to the Woodmark’s staff, Woody Mae.
Woody Mae and General Manager of Woodmark Hotel, John Murphy
Woody Mae is a black Labrador Retriever brought on as the Woodmark’s new Director of Barketing. The four year old rescue dog is responsible for developing a new ‘barketing plan’ to achieve an even more dog-friendly atmosphere at the property. Woody Mae is settling in with the Front Desk team and finding joy in welcoming all of the Woodmark’s favorite guests.
Eventually Woody Mae will host Woodmark’s infamous Yappier Hour, which offers guests the opportunity to socialize and enjoy happy hour specials every Wednesday from June through September. As the official hotel dog, Woody Mae specializes in the ability to greet guests of all ages with a wagging tail and wet kisses. Guests can find Woody Mae curled up behind the lobby desk eager to greet you as you sip your glass of champagne at check-in.
The Woodmark prides itself on offering pet-friendly luxury accommodations on the picturesque shores of Lake Washington. The Woodmark staff and Woody Mae look forward to welcoming you on your next lakeside retreat!
