The Woodmark Hotel Celebrates Halloween with Howl-at-the-Moon Muttmixer
Kirkland hotel celebrates canine companions with a Halloween party hosted by CityDog Magazine
KIRKLAND, Wash. (October 7, 2013) – Halloween has gone to the dogs at The Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club & Spa. The Woodmark, located 15-minutes east of Seattle on the shores of Lake Washington at Carillon Point, is celebrating canine ghouls and goblins with its 2nd Annual Howl-at-the-Moon Muttmixer, in partnership with CityDog Magazine, on Wednesday, October 30.
The Halloween-themed Muttmixer will be held at the Woodmark’s Olympic Terrace from 6 to 8 p.m. and will feature tricks for treats for all four-legged attendees; a costume contest; beer, wine and cocktails available for purchase; and plenty of Halloween candy. The contest categories include Best Pack (group), Best Dog and Owner Pair, Funniest Costume, Most Original Costume and Scariest Costume.
“Last year’s inaugural Howl-at-the-Moon Muttmixer exceeded all of our expectations,” said Julie Mackey, director of sales and marketing for the Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club & Spa. “We partied with more than 60 dogs and were so impressed with the creative costumes their owners came up with. We encourage all guests and community members to grab their furry friends and join us in celebrating Halloween this year – it’s an event that no dog-lover will want to miss!”
The 2012 inaugural Howl-at-the-Moon Muttmixer featured more than 60 pups and more than 100 of their two-legged companions.
